From Manual Merchandising to an AI Growth Team: How LimeSpot Growth Agents Help SHOPLINE Merchants Grow Revenue

Every growing store knows what it should be doing: show each shopper the right products, offer the right bundle at the right moment, keep pages fast, and make sure ad spend brings in buyers rather than browsers. What most stores lack is someone whose job is to do all of it, every week.

LimeSpot Growth Agents give SHOPLINE merchants that team. Each Agent has one job, works on the merchant's live store, and hands back a draft or a finding. The merchant decides what goes live.

‍

Meet the Agents

‍

The hidden cost of growth: setup and upkeep

The value is not in question. Relevant product discovery, cross-sells and upsells, and offers that respond to how people shop can all contribute to revenue growth.. The problem is the work behind them.

Traditional tools give merchants a configuration screen and leave the decisions to them. Someone has to choose which recommendations belong on each page, build audiences, manage bundles and offers, check performance, and come back regularly to keep it all current.

For lean teams without a dedicated merchandiser, that work rarely gets done, or it slowly goes stale. LimeSpot Growth Agents take it on: they do the reading, the deciding and the drafting, so the merchant's time goes to the decision rather than the setup.

‍

How it works

How it works · 5 steps, the merchant approves every change

How it works · 5 steps, the merchant approves every change

The merchant sits at step 4 every time. Agents draft and recheck; nothing reaches shoppers until the merchant publishes it.

‍

Start with a free store audit

The first Agent a merchant meets is the Growth Grader Agent. It is free, read-only and runs before anything is installed, from the LimeSpot browser extension.

It reads the Home, Product, Collection, Cart and Search pages the way a shopper's browser renders them, at desktop and mobile widths, and writes a report on every personalization gap it finds including:

  • Gaps, page by page: how many gaps each page has, with a diagram of the page showing where each fix goes
  • A card for every fix: which recommendation to add, where it goes, what shoppers will see and why it belongs there
  • Audiences and offers: the shopper groups worth their own recommendations, such as first-time visitors and returning buyers, and the bundle discounts worth running for them

Nothing on the store changes. Merchants can export the report as a PDF, email it to their team, or install LimeSpot and fill each gap.

It also checks whether AI shopping assistants can read the store at all:

‍

  • Reach: can AI crawlers get to the pages?
  • Structure: is product data structured the way AI search reads it?
  • Answers: do the pages answer what a shopping assistant asks?

‍

The Merchandising Agent drafts the work

Once installed, the Merchandising Agent works on a live preview of the merchant's own store rather than a generic mockup. It reviews the store page by page at desktop and mobile width and decides:

  • which recommendation boxes go on which pages, including cross-sells and upsells in the cart drawer
  • the audience segments to target
  • the free-shipping progress bar
  • bundle discounts
  • email recommendation content

It places each item in the theme's existing layout, then checks its own work and corrects what does not look right. The merchant reviews every draft on the page itself, changes what they want, and publishes. Nothing a shopper sees goes live without the merchant's approval.

What once took weeks can be set up in minutes, with no theme development, code or developer.

‍

It keeps working after setup

A merchant can ask the Merchandising Agent for a change in plain words, such as showing fewer products in the recently viewed row, adding a cross-sell to a page, or switching on a progress bar. It makes the change in the draft and checks the result before the merchant approves it.

‍

More Agents, one job each

  • SEO Agent: tests the store on mobile and desktop with Google's PageSpeed Insights and ranks what to fix first by the seconds each fix gives back.
  • Google Ads Agent: watches campaigns for wasted spend, budget pacing and quality-score drops, and explains what it found.

Merchants turn each Agent on separately and choose when it runs. Findings arrive as cards on one screen, newest first, marked needs attention, for your information, or done.

The Agents write the explanation, but every number in it comes from the store's own data, and a check rejects any figure the data did not produce.

‍

One set of audiences across the store, the inbox and ads

LimeSpot audiences power the storefront and travel with the merchant. Recommendations, segments, bundles, discounts and progress bars share one set of audiences and one analytics view, with revenue attribution by segment.

Audiences · built once, used on the store, in email and in Google Ads

The same shopper signals shape product discovery, email and paid media, so merchants stop maintaining separate customer definitions in every tool.

‍

A straightforward connection for SHOPLINE merchants

SHOPLINE merchants install LimeSpot from the SHOPLINE App Store, and the product catalog syncs automatically. The integration uses SHOPLINE's APIs, Extensions and native storefront integration points to render experiences on the home, product, collection and search pages and in the cart drawer.

Bundle discounts use SHOPLINE's native price rules, so the platform itself applies the discount and the experience stays aligned with the store's checkout logic.

‍

What the partnership makes possible

LimeSpot Growth Agents launch on SHOPLINE before any other platform. Rather than porting an older integration, LimeSpot built them around SHOPLINE's platform and storefront from the start.

Lean teams get a growth team that drafts, checks and maintains the store's merchandising, without hiring a merchandiser or stitching together several apps.

"SHOPLINE merchants have been running without intelligent merchandising, not because they did not want it but because nobody built it for them. We did, and we made SHOPLINE the first platform our Growth Agents launch on. You can install LimeSpot this afternoon, watch the Agents read and set up your store page by page, and approve the result before the end of the day."
